Description
Position Requirements
- 2+ years of recent ICU experience – REQUIRED
- Must be comfortable floating to the ED and Step-Down Unit – REQUIRED
- Strong ability to provide leadership, coordinate patient care, and delegate nursing assignments
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Experience mentoring, precepting, or guiding new employees/students is preferred
- Ability to integrate evidence-based practices into patient care
- Must participate in patient care conferences and discharge/transfer planning
Required Certifications
- BLS (AHA) – REQUIRED
- ACLS – REQUIRED
- NIHSS – REQUIRED
- Certifications must be documented
Preferred Certifications
- TCAR – Nice to Have
- TNCC – Nice to Have
- CCRN – Nice to Have
- SCRN – Nice to Have
- Preferred certifications must be documented
Preferred Experience
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Neurosurgical experience
- Open-heart/cardiac surgery experience
License Requirement
- Active Michigan RN License – REQUIRED
