Description

Facility Name: Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center

Floor: 9th Floor

Trauma Level: 1

Position Information:
• Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): RN
• Specialty: Trauma/Ortho/Surgical

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36; will accommodate those wanting to work 48 hours/week)
• Weekend Hours: varied; requirement of 4 weekend shifts in 4 week schedule (expect to be scheduled at least 2 of the 4 weekends on schedule)

• Call Requirements: none
• Required Certifications: none in addition to facility requirements
• Years of Experience: 2+
• Float Requirements: must be willing to float to unit with comparable patient population

• Additional Notes: We have a robust float team and the likelihood of agency staff being floated off the unit is low, but the expectation is that if needed, they will float)

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: one floor, total of 44 beds spread across two nursing stations/units
• Patient Ratios: 6:1
• EHR: EPIC

• Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: adult, trauma, ortho, urology, colorectal, surgical

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: trauma
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Post-op
• Personality Fit: flexible, friendly, and willing to work

• Required Education: All agency must pass a dysrhythmia and math of dosage test with the education department prior to being on the unit
