Unit: Main Operating Room (701)
Capacity: 14 ORs — 1 Hybrid CV OR, 1 Cysto OR, 12 Multipurpose ORs
Staff: Approximately 60 FTEs
EMR: Meditech
Equipment: Standard OR equipment, Stryker video systems
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Staffing & Schedule
Day Shift: 14–16 RNs, 14–16 CSTs, 2 Clinical Charge RNs
Night Shift: 1 Clinical Charge RN, 1 OR RN, 1 CST, with call teams for Neuro, CVOR, and General
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 PM–7:00 AM
Weekends: No weekends
On-Call: 2 twelve-hour call shifts per month and 3–4 five-hour call shifts (5:00 PM–7:00 PM) per month
Required Experience
Minimum 1 year of current hospital OR RN experience
Strong operating room and perioperative nursing skills
Required Certifications
BLS
ACLS
