🔥 HIGH-EARNING 48-HOUR NIGHT-SHIFT LABOR & DELIVERY (L&D) RN CONTRACT – GREATER BOSTON AREA
An immediate 13-week travel contract opening is available for an experienced Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) in South Weymouth, Massachusetts (South Shore / Greater Boston area). Operating within a high-volume, modern labor and delivery birthing unit, this high-compensating role features an approved 48-hour overnight schedule (4x12-Hours, 19:00 PM - 07:30 AM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; 36-hour or 40-hour configurations also considered). - Weekly Gross: $4,178.00
- Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,890.00
- Hourly W2 Rate: $44.00/hr (40 regular hours)
- Overtime Rate: $66.00/hr (8 weekly OT hours included)
📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Night shifts, 4x12-Hours (19:00 PM - 07:30 AM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM). Flexible shift commitment options:
- 48 hours/week: 4x12s
- 36 hours/week: 3x12s
- 40 hours/week: 2x12s + 2x8s
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 total hours weekly (40 regular hours + 8 overtime hours).
- Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks.
- On-Call Requirements: Standby on-call coverage required per departmental operational needs.
- Floating Flexibility: Floating is optional.
- Department Setting: Inpatient Birthing Unit / Labor & Delivery.
- Clinical Scope & High-Risk Perinatal Care: Complete intrapartum care, labor triage, spontaneous vaginal deliveries, high-risk inductions, continuous electronic fetal monitoring (EFM), postpartum recovery, and direct C-section OR circulating.
- Specialized Core Skills: Mandatory OR Circulating experience for C-sections is strictly required.
🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of dedicated acute care Labor & Delivery (L&D) clinical nursing experience with verified C-section circulating competency. (Prior travel nurse experience is not required; first-time travelers welcome!).
- Licensure: Active Massachusetts RN License strictly in hand at submittal.
- Certifications Required at Submittal:
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Documented recent Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification (minimum Intermediate level required).
- Preferred Certifications (Bonus): ALSO (Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics), NCC C-EFM or RNC-OB, First Latch breastfeeding certification.
