Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's goals
• Administer medications and treatments prescribed by licensed medical providers
• Deliver education on health and wellness strategies to support recovery
• Execute therapeutic interventions and support crisis stabilization efforts
• Support trauma-sensitive, recovery-oriented care in high-pressure settings
• Perform case management duties to coordinate patient services and resources

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing, with a minimum of 1–2 years of professional nursing experience (preferably in psychiatric or mental health settings)
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
• Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on trauma-informed practices

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in psychiatric hospitals or crisis intervention centers
• Knowledge of mental health treatment protocols and crisis management techniques
• Additional certifications related to mental health or trauma-informed care

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Alternatively, an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant clinical experience is acceptable
• At least 1 year of psychiatric nursing or mental health experience

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
• Compassion, resilience, and a commitment to patient-centered recovery
• Physical ability to perform nursing duties in a clinical setting
