Emergency Dept RN
Overview
- Travel Emergency Dept. RN in Fort Wayne, Indiana
- Start: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night shift, 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
- Hours per week: 48
- Call: None
- Floating: No
- Block scheduling: Yes
- Must work both holidays: Thanksgiving and Christmas
- Unit has 30 beds
- Patient ratio: 1:4 medical overall for the ED
- Scrub color: navy blue
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- Driver's License
- Must attach required license and certifications with submission
- Must be more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
- Driver’s license and permanent home address must be included on the submission, and the address must match ID
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- TNCC
- PALS/ENPC
- NRP
Clinical Context
- Trauma Level 2 facility
- Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Comprehensive Cardiac Center
- Pediatric Hospital in a Hospital
- Sepsis key focus performance
Additional Notes
- Approved orientation: 1 week, including hospital orientation
- EMR: Cerner
