We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive, individualized nursing care in an acute-care setting.

The RN will be responsible for assessing patients, coordinating and delivering nursing care, providing patient and family education, and evaluating patient outcomes throughout the patient's care journey.

Schedule:

• 3 × 12-hour shifts
• Every other Saturday/Sunday
• Holidays as needed
• No holiday RTO will be approved

Required at Start:

• Active California RN License
• BLS
• ACLS

Certifications to be Obtained After Hire:

• PALS within 180 days of hire
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) within 180 days of hire
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) within 90 days of hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments
• Provide direct and individualized bedside nursing care
• Develop, implement and evaluate patient care plans
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide patient and family education
• Support safe transitions of care and discharge planning
• Monitor patient condition and communicate changes promptly
• Incorporate psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic and lifestyle factors into patient care
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families and healthcare providers
• Follow hospital policies, nursing standards, best practices, laws and regulations
• Promote patient safety and an optimal patient experience
