Description
Level 2 Special Care Nursery RN | JFKUMC
Location: JFK University Medical Center, Edison- NJ
Shift: Days, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
Hours: 36 hours/week
Weekends: Required
Holidays: As needed
On-Call: Not required
Float: As needed
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Special Care Nursery experience required
- 3+ years of Mother-Baby experience required
- Must have experience caring for newborns
Clinical Skills:
- Competent in managing higher-acuity infants (32 weeks' gestation and above)
- Competent in stabilizing infants less than 32 weeks' gestation
- Strong newborn care skills required
Education:
- ASN required
- BSN preferred
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 3+ years Mother-Baby experience
- Newborn care experience
- NRP certification
- AHA BLS certification
- NJ RN License or Compact RN License
- Experience with high-acuity and premature infant stabilization (including infants under 32 weeks' gestation)
