Shift: Nights — 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Schedule: 3×12s = 36 hrs/week or 4×12s = 48 hrs/week
Assignment: 13 weeks

Unit Details

• Unit: Medical 4C – Telemetry
• Beds: 30
• Ratios: Days 1:5–6 | Nights 1:6–7
• Patient population: Medical/Med-Tele, cardiac overflow
• Float: Required on a rotational basis
• Equipment: Tele, IV pumps, tube-feeding pumps, lift equipment

Must-Haves

• 1 year Telemetry experience
• Inpatient Tele only
• Experience/competence with drug titration
• BLS – AHA only
• NIHSS — can submit without it, but must obtain before start
• Current RN license eligible for Missouri

Scheduling / Submission Requirements

• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours must be specified on submission
• Block scheduling may be considered, but specific days are not guaranteed
• RTO must be listed; no RTO during first week
• Approved RTO must be made up at the end of the assignment
• Only 1 holiday RTO can be requested
• Night-shift travelers orient on day shift and must be available for the entire orientation week
• Black scrubs only
• Flu vaccine or Mercy-approved exemption required Nov 1–Apr 1; declinations not accepted
