Location: Independence, Missouri

Department: Emergency Department

Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

Contract: 6 weeks

Guaranteed hours: 48 hours/week

Positions: 1/2

Reason: Peak period

Start: 5–7 days after offer

Local candidates: Rapid Response will take local — reach out for rate

ED Details

Beds: 40+
Staff: 120+
Patient ratio: Approximately 4:1
- 3 rooms + 1 hallway bed during high volume
EMR: Meditech
Equipment: Cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO drills, Lifepak, etc.

Required for RN Submission

BLS
ACLS
TNCC
ENPC
CPI — can be obtained after start

Skills / Experience

Must have:

Adaptability
Team-player mentality

Preferred:

Previous high-pressure experience
Previous medical experience as RN, medic, technician, etc.

Typical procedures include:

IV starts
Phlebotomy
Cardiac monitoring/interpretation
