- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing
Description
High Acuity Float Pool RN
Required Experience:
- 2+ years ICU experience required
- High-acuity ICU experience strongly preferred
- Prior floating experience required — float pool, other facilities, or other units/floors
- EPIC experience required
- Experience with medical, surgical, neuro, and cardiac patients
- Must be comfortable titrating critical-care drips, including:
- Epinephrine
- Norepinephrine
- Dobutamine
- Propofol
- Esmolol
- Hydromorphone
- Midazolam
- Cisatracurium
- Night-shift candidates with experience in CRRT, Impella, ECMO, or IABP are strongly preferred; PA catheter experience is helpful
- Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
- High-acuity assignments generally 1:2, with 1:1 for higher acuity
Schedule:
- 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 3×12-hour night shifts
Required Certifications:
- BLS – AHA
- ACLS – AHA
- NIHSS
License:
- Washington or Compact RN license
