Position Overview
Pulse Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Anchorage, Alaska.
The OR RN will provide perioperative nursing care, primarily in a circulating role, while collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers and surgical staff.
Requirements
- 2+ years recent OR RN experience
- Circulating experience required
- Certifications: BLS
- ACLS and CNOR preferred
- Active Alaska RN license required
Responsibilities
- Provide safe perioperative nursing care
- Circulate during surgical procedures
- Complete preoperative and intraoperative assessments
- Maintain sterile and safe surgical environments
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia providers and OR staff
- Monitor patient condition throughout procedures
- Maintain accurate surgical documentation

About
Anchorage is a unique city surrounded by 5,000-foot-high peaks in the south-central part of Alaska along the Cook Inlet, where abundant salmon and whales swim through.
