Registered Nurse - Pediatric Transport
Start: 11/16/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 3x12s | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Weekends: Every other weekend
Call: Not required

Requirements:
- 2+ years RN experience
- Epic experience required
- Ground transport experience required
- BLS, NRP, PALS
- Charge experience preferred
- NICU/PICU experience strongly relevant
- Must be comfortable caring for neonates, infants, and pediatric patients
Key Skills:
- NICU/PICU & pediatric transport
- Ventilator, BiPAP/CPAP & HFNC management
- Acute airway and tracheostomy care
- ETT/NT suctioning
- Arterial line & central line management
- IV therapy/phlebotomy
- IV vasopressors and emergency medications
- Continuous sedation
- Pediatric dosage calculations
- Chest tubes
- Dysrhythmia interpretation/management
- NG tube and urinary catheter management
Position Overview:
This RN will be part of the Peds/Neonatal Critical Care Transport Team, providing ground transportation for infants and pediatric patients from surrounding hospitals, EDs, L&D, NICUs, and other facilities to Swedish First Hill for a higher level of care.
The transport team may include an RN, Respiratory Therapist, and/or Advanced Practice Provider depending on the patient's needs.
Additional Details:
- May float to NICU, PICU, or Peds as a bedside nurse
- No block scheduling
- 36 hours of orientation
- 1 RTO request allowed
- Every other weekend
