Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care

Location: Rochester, NY
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care
Shift: Rotational 12-hour shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights)
Hours: 48 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License – New York State license ONLY.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Long Term Care.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) ONLY.
• Telemetry experience required.
• Ability to work rotational 12-hour shifts, including days, evenings, and nights.
• Ability to work 48 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.
• Assess residents' health conditions and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
• Monitor vital signs, patient status, and changes in condition, taking appropriate action when needed.
• Utilize telemetry monitoring skills and recognize changes in cardiac rhythms or patient status.
