What You'll Do
- Evaluate and treat patients in an Acute Care hospital setting.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's functional needs and medical condition.
- Provide mobility, transfer, gait, balance, and therapeutic exercise interventions.
- Work with patients recovering from surgery, illness, injury, or hospitalization.
- Assess functional mobility and assist with safe discharge recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, case management, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Requirements
- Active Washington Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain.
- Acute Care/hospital experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong clinical reasoning and ability to work with medically complex patients.
- Excellent communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills.
