Shift Matrix: Day Shift | 07:00 – 19:30 (3x12-Hour Shifts)
- Work Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week.
- On-Call Requirement: On-call coverage required per departmental rotation.

🚫 Absolute Minimum Qualifications & Departmental Hardstops:
- Licensure Mandate: Active, unencumbered New Hampshire State RN License or Compact RN License held in hand at submission.
- Experience Baseline: Minimum 2+ years of recent, dedicated Inpatient Pediatric RN experience in an acute care facility.
- Mandatory Certifications:
- Active AHA BLS
- Active AHA PALS
- EHR Proficiency: Mandatory Epic EMR experience.
- Flexibility & Cross-Coverage Expectations:
- Must be open to floating to NICU to care for "Eat, Sleep, Console" or feeder/grower assignments based on candidate's competency/comfort.
- Rare possibility of house-wide floating strictly for 1:1 patient coverage.
Job Summary & Clinical Scope
A Hospital in Dover, NH is seeking an experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN Pediatrics) for a 13-week day contract in the combined Women & Children's Unit / NICU (WD3122 / SO00006976). Operating within a 26-bed combined unit (16 LDRP, 6 NICU, 4 Pediatric beds), the RN will deliver comprehensive inpatient nursing care to pediatric patients aged 0–17 years and provide cross-coverage support for level II/feeder-grower neonates.
- Inpatient Pediatric Nursing Care: Direct bedside care for pediatric medical-surgical, general surgery, limited orthopedics, diabetic management, and outpatient specialty infusion populations (typical ratios 3–4:1 based on acuity).
- Pediatric Respiratory Management: Manage high-acuity pediatric respiratory presentations, including nasal cannula (NC) and high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) therapy.
- NICU Feeder/Grower Cross-Coverage: Support unit operations by managing low-acuity NICU assignments, including feeder/grower infants and neonatal abstinence "Eat, Sleep, Console" protocols.
- Interdisciplinary Unit Support: Collaborate with Pediatric Hospitalists (providing 24/7 medical oversight across Peds and ED), LNAs, and clinical specialists utilizing Epic EMR and Plum IV infusion pumps.
