Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Middleburg Heights, OH 44130
Unit: Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics
Engagement Type: Contract
Shift: 3x12hrs- Nights
Shift Time: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekend: Every 3rd Weekend

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments of patients, including safety and educational needs.
Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare disciplines.
Provide nursing care to Labor & Delivery and Postpartum patients on a rotational basis.
Provide age-appropriate and population-specific care according to organizational standards.
Assess patient and significant other's readiness to learn and provide appropriate patient/family education.

Schedule & Shift Details

Night Shift
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Every 3rd Weekend
Required to work Labor & Delivery and Postpartum on a rotational basis
If called in, HCP must be able to arrive within 30 minutes

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Labor & Delivery / L&D nursing experience required.
Experience caring for OB and Postpartum patients.
Ability to work both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum assignments on a rotational basis.
