RN – Labor & Delivery / Recovery / Postpartum
Experience: 3+ years L&D; community hospital experience preferred
Ratio: 1:1–3
Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP required; AWHONN Advanced/Intermediate preferred
Weekend: 4–6 Sat/Sun shifts + 2 Fridays per 6-week schedule
Holiday: 1 major + 1–2 minor holidays
Floating: Required
RTO: Max 7 days; none during first 2 weeks
Scheduling requests: Not accommodated
Required Skills:
L&D/LDRP, antepartum, postpartum & Mother/Baby, Level I Nursery, vaginal & C-section deliveries, C-section recovery/circulating, high-risk/hemorrhage management, fetal monitoring (EFM/IUPC/internal monitoring), NST, sterile vaginal exams, amnioinfusion, IV/venipuncture, blood products, Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, terbutaline, antihypertensives, postpartum hemorrhage/PIH care, newborn assessment/hypoglycemia/phototherapy, breastfeeding support, circumcision care, APGAR/neonatal care, epidural/general anesthesia, D&C, tubal ligation, hysterectomy post-op care, PPE/isolation and vaccine administration.
Preferred: High-risk delivery, scrub C-section, low-risk experience, anticoagulants/anticonvulsants, neonatal resuscitation/arrest, radiant warmers, cervical cerclage, sterile speculum exams.
