Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant – SNF/Rehab
Concord, MA | MetroWest
Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a travel Skilled Nursing/Rehab contract in Concord, Massachusetts.
Position Overview
Work with an adult and geriatric rehabilitation population under the direction of the supervising Occupational Therapist, helping patients regain the skills needed to safely and independently complete everyday activities following hospitalization, surgery, illness or injury.
Responsibilities
- Implement established OT plans of care
- ADL and functional activity training
- Upper-extremity strengthening, coordination and range of motion
- Transfer and functional mobility training
- Adaptive equipment training
- Safety and fall-prevention education
- Patient and caregiver education
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Collaborate with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary rehab team
