Travel Physical Therapist Assistant – SNF/Rehab
Smyrna, DE
Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a travel Skilled Nursing/Rehab contract in Smyrna, Delaware.
Position Overview
Work with an adult and geriatric rehabilitation population under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist, helping patients improve strength, mobility, balance and functional independence following hospitalization, surgery, illness or injury.
Responsibilities
- Implement established PT plans of care
- Therapeutic exercise and strengthening
- Gait and balance training
- Transfer and functional mobility training
- Assistive device training
- Fall-prevention and safety education
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Patient and caregiver education
- Collaborate with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary rehab team
