Travel Physical Therapist Assistant – Outpatient
Athletico Physical Therapy | Grovetown, GA
Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a travel Outpatient contract with Athletico Physical Therapy in Grovetown, Georgia.
Position Overview
This is an outpatient orthopedic PTA opportunity working with patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, orthopedic conditions and surgical procedures.
Under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist, the PTA will implement individualized plans of care designed to improve strength, mobility, flexibility and function while helping patients return to work, sports and everyday activities.
Responsibilities
- Implement established PT plans of care
- Therapeutic exercise and functional strengthening
- Orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation
- Post-operative rehabilitation
- Gait, balance and mobility training
- Flexibility and range-of-motion activities
- Patient education and home exercise programs
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Communicate patient response and changes with the supervising PT
- Collaborate with the outpatient rehabilitation team
