RN – NICU
- Minimum Experience: 3 years
- Unit: Level III/IV NICU
- Gestation: 23–24 weeks and above
- Unit Size: 77 beds; average census ~50
- Traveler: Must be open to floating to different campuses
- Block Scheduling: Available; can work 3+ consecutive shifts if preferred
Clinical Skills/Experience:
- CPAP/BiPAP
- High-frequency vents, oscillators & conventional ventilators
- Blood/blood product administration
- Cardioversion/defibrillation
- Cooling/warming blankets
- Feeding tubes
- PICC/central lines
- Syringe pumps
- High-risk deliveries
- Neonatal surgeries
- No ECMO required
Floating: Rare, but may float to Issaquah/Edmonds SCN or Pediatrics/NBN (newborns only). Travelers generally do not admit babies as the unit has a dedicated Admit Nurse. If floated to Peds, care is limited to infants.
