Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 2 years of L&D experience (most recent within the last 6 months)
Hospital Experience: Facility with minimum 150 births/month; Community Hospital required; Trauma Level I/II preferred
Licensure: Valid CA State License (Nursys uploaded within last 2 weeks)
Certifications (AHA or ARC only):
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN Beginner minimum accepted)

Core Clinical Skills Required

L&D Capabilities: High-risk L&D, High-risk Antepartum, Triage, OR Circulating for C-Sections, Epidural/General Anesthesia, Recovery, Sterile Vaginal Exams, EFM/Internal Fetal Monitoring, IUPC, Pitocin, Mag Sulfate, PPH Management.
Newborn & Postpartum Care: Newborn assessment, APGAR scores, thermoregulation, resuscitation support, breastfeeding support, couplet care/mother-baby.
