Travel RN – Neuro Med Surg (Nights) – Johnstown, PA

3x12s- WILL HONOR 4x12s if requested
Facility: Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center (LifePoint / HealthTrust)
Address: 1086 Franklin St, Johnstown, PA 15905
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Nights 7:00p–7:00a | 36 hrs/week | Weekends: 2 of 4 weekends (straight weekends considered)
Unit: 22-bed Neuro Med Surg | Ratios: 5:1–6:1 (can be up to 1:7 with ED holds)
Charting: EPIC
Equipment: Cardiac monitors, Mindray vitals, GE EKG
Float: Rare, if needed
Interview: Required

Unit/Role Highlights:

Adult neuro med-surg population; common dx: CVA/TIA, seizures, inability to ambulate, urinary/respiratory conditions
Must be comfortable with telemetry/cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition
Dysrhythmia + math dosage assessment on first day (study guide provided)

Requirements:

Active PA RN license
NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) required
2+ years RN experience (neuro strongly preferred)
Must complete PA clearances prior to start (Child Abuse, DHS fingerprinting, FBI Aging fingerprinting, PATCH)
Must live 60+ miles from facility (no locals)
