Description
Telemetry/Stepdown RN | Days
Shift: Days | 36 hrs/week
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
Float: As Needed
Requirements
- RN License (NJ or Compact)
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years recent Telemetry experience

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and manage telemetry patients with changing clinical conditions
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and ongoing reassessments
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Document care accurately according to standards and patient acuity
- Support evidence-based practice and quality initiatives
Ideal Candidate
Experienced Telemetry/Stepdown RN with strong cardiac monitoring skills, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to manage moderately acute patients in a fast-paced inpatient setting. Comfortable floating as needed and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
