Louisville, KY

About

Louisville is the largest city in Kentucky and the famous namesake of the Official Bat of Major League Baseball, the Louisville Slugger. It’s also well known as the host of the Kentucky Derby, the most prestigious American horse race. Many visitors note the city’s friendly hospitality, often called second to none. In fact, Louisville often ranks among the country's friendliest cities. It's where big-city amenities meet Southern charm with plenty of things to see and do. Take a stroll through Old Louisville, the third-largest National Preservation District in the U.S., ideal for lovers of architecture and history. Shopping is a treat, with everything from vintage to upscale shops and boutiques scattered throughout the city, and the dining scene is just as impressive and diverse. At Logan Street Market alone, over 30 local chefs, artisans and merchants offer a wide range of tasty eats and unique products.
