Description
📋 Position Overview
We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services to students with IEPs in a school setting.
Â
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide speech and language services to students with IEPs
• Develop treatment plans, interventions, and educational materials
• Evaluate students in speech and language as determined by the MET team
• Implement communication goals identified in student IEPs
• Write and attend MET and IEP meetings as the SLP service coordinator
• Deliver services using a classroom integration/push-in model
• Consult with teachers, parents, staff, and outside professionals
• Coach classroom staff and SLPAs on speech/communication goals
• Supervise SLPAs when applicable based on caseload
• Support students and staff with Augmentative Communication Devices
• Support classroom curriculum related to language acquisition
• Complete required documentation and Medicaid billing
• Ensure compliance with IEP goals and regulatory requirements
• Participate in staff training and maintain regular attendance
