Travel assignment in St. Petersburg, Florida
36 hours per week
13-week contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Long Term Acute Care (2 years of experience)
Long Term Acute Care experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Experience with ventilator management
Experience with tracheostomy care
Experience with PICC lines

Preferred Qualifications

Wound care experience

Role Details

The role is an LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse
Provides patient care using the Nursing Process and follows state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures
Holds shift accountability for care delivery
Uses critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to anticipate and plan safe care
Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education
Delegates patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
Provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
