- Licensure Mandate: Active, unencumbered Wisconsin State RN License or Compact RN License held in hand and verified active at submission.
- Experience Baseline: Minimum 2+ years of recent Outpatient Dialysis / Chronic Hemodialysis RN experience.
- Education Mandate: Full education verification required at submission.

- Active AHA BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)

- EHR Proficiency: Mandatory Epic EMR experience.

Job Summary & Clinical Scope
An Outpatient Dialysis Center in Janesville, WI is seeking an experienced Outpatient Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN Outpatient Dialysis) for a 13-week day contract in the Outpatient Dialysis Unit. Operating within a multi-specialty ambulatory facility (150–500 bed system footprint), the RN will manage chronic hemodialysis treatments, vascular access care, fluid/electrolyte management, and long-term renal disease plan-of-care execution for ESRD patient populations.
- Chronic Hemodialysis Treatment Execution: Initiate, monitor, and terminate outpatient hemodialysis procedures following standardized safety, infection control, and operational policies.
- Vascular Access Assessment & Care: Access, assess, and maintain arteriovenous fistulas (AVFs), synthetic AV grafts, and central venous hemodialysis catheters; execute sterile dressing changes and cannulation techniques.
- Patient Assessment & Care Planning: Utilize the nursing process to develop, initiate, and evaluate individualized renal care plans, including interdisciplinary collaboration with nephrologists, dietitians, and social workers.
- Pharmacotherapy & Fluid Balance Management: Administer prescribed medications, continuous IV fluid titrations, erythropoietin-stimulating agents (ESAs), and iron infusions while monitoring ultrafiltration and hemodynamic stability.
- Patient & Family Education: Educate renal patients and families on fluid/dietary restrictions, medication compliance, access care, and self-management strategies.
