Description
Position: Surgical Technologist / Tissue Processing Technician
Location: Palo Alto, CA
Setting: Children's Hospital
Duration: 13-weeks
Compensation
Travel Package: $2,600/week
*Must reside over 50 miles away to qualify for travel package*

Schedule:
- 4x10s, days/nights
Position Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and the surgical team during operative procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and surgical supplies
- Anticipate surgeon needs throughout procedures
- Ensure all required equipment and instrumentation are available and functioning properly
- Adhere to sterile technique and infection prevention standards
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Surgical Technologist experience
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or formal military surgical training program
- Current AHA BLS (Healthcare Provider) Certification
- One of the following credentials:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA
- Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) through NCCT
