Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Columbus, GA
Start Date: 10/26/2026
Contract: 8 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 3×12s | 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year RRT experience
- GA RRT License required
- BLS, ACLS & PALS required
- NRP preferred
- Teaching hospital experience required
- Trauma experience required
- Trauma Level II experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
- Epic experience preferred
Clinical Experience:
- Primarily adult population; must be comfortable with intubated pediatric patients
- Adult Critical Care & Emergency Department
- Pediatric Critical Care
- Mechanical ventilation, BiPAP & CPAP
- Ventilator troubleshooting and weaning
- Extubation & airway management
- HFNC and oxygen therapy
- Tracheostomy care/management
- Aerosol/nebulizer therapy
- ABG & capillary blood gas collection/interpretation
- Arterial line procedures and line draws
- Pulmonary hygiene and suctioning
- Medication delivery systems
- Pulmonary Function Testing/Spirometry preferred
- Experience with Viasys Vela, GE Carescape and Viasys Avea preferred
