Description

Outpatient Oncology RN

Location: Santa Rosa, CA

Start Date: 11/02/2026
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 5×8s | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
 

Requirements:

  • 1+ year Oncology/Infusion RN experience
  • Prior outpatient oncology/infusion experience REQUIRED
  • Active CA RN license / Compact license in hand
  • BLS REQUIRED
  • ONCC or ONS Oncology Certification REQUIRED
  • Epic experience preferred
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Locals accepted
  • No weekends
  • No call

Daily Workload:

  • Approximately 6 infusions/day
  • 1–2 port draws/day
  • Adult & geriatric Heme/Onc patients
  • 20-bed oncology clinic

Required Clinical Skills:

  • Chemotherapy administration, including continuous and oral chemotherapy
  • IV therapy/infusions
  • Blood & blood product administration
  • Port and central/implanted line care
  • Oncologic emergencies
  • Neutropenic precautions
  • Symptom management
  • Extravasation, anaphylaxis, hemorrhage, sepsis and tumor lysis management
  • Alaris Infusion Pumps
  • CADD Ambulatory Pumps

Steer clear of Bakersfield. These rates are laughable for the work load. 5k minimum.
