Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Day Shift

Schedule: Day Shift | Monday – Friday | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Typically 06:15 Start | 40 Guaranteed Hours Per Week
Assignment Duration: 13-Week Contract Assignment
Location Region: Sioux City, Iowa (IA) | Travel Candidates Only (Local Candidates Restricted)

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

Clinical Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated CST / OR Surgical Technologist experience AND prior OR travel experience strictly required [HARDSTOP].
Surgical Service Line Proficiencies [HARDSTOP]: Verified clinical proficiency and hands-on experience in Spine, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Robotics, ENT, and Gynecology (GYN) strictly required [HARDSTOP].
Radius & Re-Hire Restrictions [HARDSTOP]: Permanent address must be greater than 50 miles from the facility (Driver's License required at submission; no local candidates). Candidates previously employed by the health system (FTE or PRN float pool) within the past 12 months are ineligible [HARDSTOP].
State Mandatory Credentialing [HARDSTOP]: Active Iowa Mandatory Reporter Certification strictly required at submission [HARDSTOP].
Primary Professional Credentials [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]: Active NBSTSA (CST) certification (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) strictly required at submission [HARDSTOP].
Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]:
- Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support — Healthcare Provider) [HARDSTOP].
- Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) [HARDSTOP].
EMR Requirement [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical proficiency with Epic EMR strictly required [HARDSTOP].
Profile Submission Documents [HARDSTOP]: Profile must include full work history, discipline-specific skills checklist (OR/CST), 1 supervisory reference from within the last 2 years, NBSTSA certificate, AHA BLS & ACLS cards, and Driver's License [HARDSTOP].
