Description

Job Breakdown – Cath Lab Tech

Position: Cath Lab Technologist
Setting: Acute Care – Level I Trauma
Schedule: 4×9-hour days + Call
Start Time: 7:00 AM or 8:30 AM, as assigned
Guaranteed: 36 hours/week
Contract: 13 weeks
EMR: Epic
Equipment: McKesson
Labs/Suites: 6
Average Cases: ~18/day

Must-Have Requirements

Minimum 3 years Cath Lab experience
Cath Lab + Neuro experience
ARRT(R)
BLS & ACLS (AHA)
High-risk coronary intervention experience
STEMI intervention experience
Must be able to scrub and circulate STEMI cases
Willing to learn circulating/monitoring for neuro-interventional cases
Active IL license or proof that IL license application has been initiated

Call & Weekend Requirements

Call required
30-minute response time
4 weekends (Sat/Sun) during the 13-week assignment
Cardiologist coverage 24/7
May float to EP/IR

Other Important Details

Scrubs provided
Orientation: 5 shifts during the first week
No BSN requirement
Local candidates within 50 miles receive a $25 lower rate
Requested time off must be submitted upfront
Negative drug screen required
OSF cancellation policy: 12 hours per 13 weeks without penalty.
