Job Breakdown – Labor & Delivery RN

Position: Labor & Delivery RN
Facility: Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA
Schedule: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 12-hour days
Guaranteed: 36 hours/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Unit: L&D – 9 LDRs + 4 triage/testing beds
EMR: CPN/Meditech
Scrubs: Navy
Float: Mother Baby

Must-Have Requirements

Active California RN license
2+ years L&D experience
BLS, ACLS & NRP
Fetal monitoring
Vaginal exam experience – MUST
C-section circulating experience – MUST
Post-C-section recovery
Laboring patient care, including vaginal delivery and C-section
High-risk antepartum care
OB emergencies, including OB hemorrhage
Newborn care during the first hour of life
Breastfeeding/initial latch support
Strong critical-thinking and customer-service skills

Preferred

Scrub experience
NCC certification in Inpatient OB or EFM
Experience with NST, CST, BPP, OB triage/OBED, MSE, versions and cervical cerclage
