Description
Title: Ultrasound Tech – General
Location: San Angelo, TX 76903
Duration: 26 weeks
Shift: Day, 4x10s | 10:00 AM–8:00 PM
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday | No call
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- General and Vascular Ultrasound required
- OB experience preferred
- Travel experience required per job overview / highly preferred
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Ultrasound Tech program
- ARDMS, ARDMS AB, ARDMS RVT
- BLS/ACLS/NIHSS/Nursys required with submission
- Active license in hand required at submission
- Must be willing to float to South Campus if needed
- Local candidates within 110 miles are not accepted
Clinical Experience
- General Ultrasound: Appendix, Gallbladder, Pancreas
- Vascular: Aorta, Arterial Mapping, Carotid, Doppler, Duplex, Stents
- OB/GYN: 1st, 2nd & 3rd trimester
- Patient populations: Adult, Pediatric, NICU, Neonate, Infant, Geriatric
- Settings: ED, ICU, OB, Pediatrics, Portables
- Equipment: GE, PACS
Description
- 26-week contract preferred; facility will consider a minimum of 13 weeks
- Includes holidays if scheduled to work
- May float to the South Campus
- Patient diagnoses will include General, Vascular, and OB
- COVID and Flu vaccines required; medical/religious exemptions accepted
- 16 hours of orientation – non-billable
- Base bill rate: $80/hr
