Description
Title: CT Tech
Location: San Angelo, TX 76903
Duration: 26 weeks
Shift: Day 4x10, Friday–Monday, 10:00–19:00
Requirements:
- 2 years of CT Tech experience required.
- Must graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), and Texas State License required.
- BLS required; ACLS/NIHSS/Nursys required with submission.
- Epic experience required.
- Travel experience strongly preferred unless candidate has a very strong work history.
- Experience with adult, pediatric, neonatal, and geriatric patients.
- Strong CT experience with contrast studies, venipuncture, CTA, coronary CTA, trauma, head/neck, spine, chest, abdomen, and pelvis.
Description:
- Perform CT imaging across Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Emergency Department, Pediatric Acute Care, and Pediatric Outpatient settings.
- Perform CT with and without contrast, including abdomen/pelvis, head, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal studies.
- Experience with CTA, pulmonary embolism, aorta, vascular CTA, coronary CTA, and CT arthrography.
- Handle trauma head, carotid, soft tissue neck, cervical/lumbar/thoracic spine, and musculoskeletal trauma studies.
- Prepare and administer contrast media, perform venipuncture, and follow isolation/PPE protocols.
- Equipment includes Canon, Philips, Toshiba, Carestream, and Shimadzu CT/imaging systems.
- Utilize ROI measurements and image display/post-processing techniques.
