Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience in a comparable hospital setting.
• At least one travel or temporary assignment completed in an Emergency Department.
• Ability to handle high patient ratios with professionalism and compassion.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Virginia.
• Active certifications including ACLS, BLS, CPI/Handle with Care, NIH, and either PALS or ENPC.
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with common diagnoses such as chest pain, CHF, COPD, or psychiatric emergencies.
• Prior exposure to Medhost electronic health record systems.
• Adaptability in a travel or floating capacity, with flexibility to work as needed, including weekends and call shifts.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing.
• 2+ years of ER experience, with a proven ability to thrive in high-volume, high-pressure environments.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work a 13-week assignment starting around November 3, 2026, with a schedule from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and as needed for coverage.
• Must complete all required certifications prior to start date.
