Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Eureka, CA
Start Date: 11/02/2026
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 3×12s | 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
Requirements:
• Must have at least 1 year of experience
• Compact license must be active/in hand at submission
• Facility does not accept Nursys or background-check hits
• Travelers may be required to float to nearby sister facilities
• No local candidates
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, NYD
Required Certifications:
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• ENPC preferred
• NIHSS
Preferred Experience:
• Combined Adult/Pediatric ED
• Pediatric emergency care
• Level 3 Trauma experience
• STEMI & Stroke certified facility experience
• Triage
• Psychiatric/behavioral health
• Trauma and neuro emergencies
• Ventilator/BiPAP/CPAP management
• Procedural sedation
• IV vasopressors and emergency medications
• Dysrhythmia management
• Intubation
• Blood products
• ABG interpretation
