Position: Medical Laboratory Scientist

Location: Fully Remote

Setting: Remote Laboratory Informatics / Laboratory Mapping

Duration: 13+ Weeks (Likely Extension Into 2027)

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Flexible schedule
• Work hours can be completed on your own time

Pay Package:

• $75/hour
• $3,000/week

Overview:

• Must be Proficient with LOINC code mapping
• Perform laboratory mapping and validation activities
• Work extensively with LOINC code mapping
• Support laboratory informatics and data standardization initiatives
• Collaborate with laboratory and technical teams to ensure accurate test mappings
• Fully remote opportunity with flexible scheduling
• Strong potential for long-term extension into 2027

Requirements:

Must Have:

• LOINC mapping experience
• MLS (ASCP)
• CLS (ASCP)

Will NOT Accept:

• MT (ASCP)
• MLT (ASCP)

Preferred Laboratory Experience (in order of priority):

1. Chemistry
2. Hematology
3. Urinalysis
4. Immunology
5. Blood Banking
6. Microbiology
7. Molecular
8. Flow Cytometry

Additional Details:

• Fully remote position
• 40 hours guaranteed per week

• Remote experience preferred
• Strong chemistry background highly preferred
• Previous laboratory mapping and LOINC experience required
• Assignment expected to run at least 13 weeks with likely extension through 2027
