Job Details
- Position: Level 3 RN, Labor & Delivery (OB Registered Nurse)
- Facility: Strong Memorial Hospital
- Location: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 4 days per week, rotating shifts
- Job type: Full-time, in person
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State RN license (NY only)
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- BLS certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients (high, moderate, and low risk)
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary team in Labor & Delivery
Prioritize and problem-solve in a fast-paced, changing environment
Deliver patient- and family-centered care
Train and maintain competencies across multiple OB modes of care and delivery
Float among OB/GYN units as needed to meet changing patient volume and acuity
