Position Overview

• Specialty: Oncology RN / Outpatient Infusion RN
• Certification: OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) / Oncology Nursing Certification required
• Shift: Days, 5×8 hours
• Hours: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM
• Contract:13 weeks
• Setting: Outpatient Oncology / Infusion
• Infusion Suite: 8 chairs + 2 private beds/rooms
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:4
• EMR: EPIC / Beacon

💉 Main Responsibilities

Candidate should be experienced with:

• Chemotherapy administration
• Immunotherapy / biotherapy
• Blood product administration
• Antibiotic administration
• IV infusions and injections
• Therapeutic phlebotomy
• Oncology patient care
• Outpatient infusion procedures
• EPIC Beacon oncology documentation

✅ Required Qualifications

• BLS
• Chemotherapy certification: ONS/ONCC
• OCN / Oncology certification — specifically required in the posting
• EPIC experience required
• Oncology specialty experience within the last 1 year
• Strong outpatient oncology/infusion experience
• One supervisory reference required at submission
• SSN required at submission

📋 Riverside-Specific Requirements

• Candidate must be able to interview by phone with the manager.
• VA license must be in hand at submission, OR candidate must provide proof of a compact license.
• NIH and Stroke education required for RNs at Riverside acute-care hospitals.
• Prior permanent Riverside employees must have been separated for at least 6 months before taking a travel assignment.
• Floating may be required based on facility needs.
• Candidate cannot work a Riverside Travel assignment and Riverside Per Diem contract simultaneously.

🕐 RTO Requirements

• Keep RTO (Requested Time Off) to a minimum.
• Preferably no full calendar week off during the assignment.
• Maximum preferred RTO: 7 days total.
• Any RTO must be disclosed at initial submission.
• Once an offer is given, additional RTO will not be approved.
