Required Qualifications

• Oncology nursing experience within the last year
• BLS
• Oncology Nursing Certification (ONS/ONCC)
• Chemotherapy/oncology experience
• Proficiency with EPIC/Beacon
• Experience administering:
  • Chemotherapy
  • Immunotherapy/biotherapies
  • Blood products
  • Antibiotics
  • Infusions and injections
  • Therapeutic phlebotomy

Unit Details

• Outpatient oncology/infusion suite
• 8 infusion chairs + 2 private beds
• Expected ratio: 1:4
• EPIC/Beacon EMR
• Blood product administration
• Chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration
• Therapeutic phlebotomy
• Injections and infusions

Submission & Compliance

• Virginia license must be in hand at submission or proof of compact license
• EPIC experience is required
• NIH and stroke education required for RNs under Riverside Health
• 1 supervisory reference required for submission; 2 required for compliance
• SSN required at submission
• RTO should be submitted upfront; maximum 7 days preferred
• Prior permanent Riverside employees must be separated for at least 6 months
• Manager interview required
• Floating may be requested based on facility needs
• Locals accepted at the same base rate
• COVID vaccine not required
