Travel Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery | $2448 (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 36 hours/week

Schedule: 6:45 PM–7:15 AM | Night Shift | 12-hour shifts
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Start/End Date: November 2, 2026 - January 31, 2027
Hours: 24, 24/36, or 36 hours/week
Weekend/Holiday: As needed
Unit: 14-bed Labor & Delivery
Level: Level III Trauma
Patient Ratio: 1:2
Average Volume: Approximately 175 cases/month
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night-shift assignment at Texas Health Alliance. The RN will care for labor, antepartum, and recovery couplets and must be comfortable circulating C-sections. There is also potential to float to Mother/Baby or work as a sitter/task RN on other units.
Qualifications/Initial Requirements
✓ Minimum 2 years of current Labor & Delivery RN experience required.
✓ Must be able to circulate C-sections.
✓ Experience with labor, antepartum, recovery, and couplet care.
✓ Advanced NRP, ACLS, BLS, and Fetal Monitoring certifications required.
✓ Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed.
✓ Potential to float to Mother/Baby or other units as a sitter/task RN.
✓ Voluntary on-call opportunities available.
✓ RN must live within 100 miles of the hospital.
✓ Current Driver’s License must be submitted with the candidate packet.
