Unit: 14 beds
Patient Ratio: 1:2
Average Volume: Approximately 175 cases/month
Level: Level III Trauma
 

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mother Baby RN for a 13-week night-shift assignment at Texas Health Alliance. The RN will provide care to postpartum patients and newborns, including labor, antepartum, recovery, and couplet care. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced Level III Trauma environment and circulating C-sections.

Qualifications/Initial Requirements
✓ Minimum 2 years of current RN experience required.
✓ Mother Baby/Postpartum experience required.
✓ Must be able to circulate C-sections.
✓ Experience with labor, antepartum, recovery, and couplet care.
✓ ACLS, BLS, Advanced NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications required.
✓ Must be available for weekend and holiday rotation.
✓ Potential to float to Mother Baby or other units as a sitter/task RN.
✓ Voluntary on-call opportunities available.
✓ RN must reside within 100 miles of the hospital.
✓ Current Driver’s License must be submitted with the candidate packet.
