Role: OR Surgical Technologist (OR Tech)

Setting: Acute Care

Trauma Level: 3

Contract: 13 weeks / 91 days

Guaranteed: 40 hours/week

Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts

Shift: Days, with variable weekday assignments

Start times: 6:30 AM, 9:00 AM, or 11:00 AM

Charting: Cerner

BSN: Not required

BLS: Required

License & Certification Requirements

Important: A Washington State license/registration is required at the time of submission. Pending licenses will not be reviewed.

• Washington State OR Tech/Surgical Technologist registration required
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
• BLS required
• National CST certification is not required
• At least 1 year of scrubbing experience
• First-time travelers are accepted

Required Clinical Experience

The manager specifically requires experience with:

• ENT, including:
  • FESS/sinus
  • Septoplasty
  • Cochlear implants
  • Tympanoplasty
  • Laryngoscopy
  • Thyroid/parathyroid
• Da Vinci Xi robotic experience in:
  • GYN
  • Urology
  • General surgery

Other case exposure includes:

• GYN/Urology
• Vascular
• Plastic surgery
• Orthopedics — total hips/knees
• Neuro
• Cardiovascular/thoracic
• General — breast, HPB, bariatric
• Sports medicine — hand/podiatry
• Kidney and kidney/pancreatic transplants
• ENT
