Description

Occupational Therapist (Pediatric/School-Based) – OT Peds | Travel & Local | Redding, CA

 

Location: Redding, CA and surrounding school sites 
Assignment length: 34 weeks
Start date: 10/26/2026 (preferred coverage through the end of the school year, 5/28/2027)
Schedule: Days, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Work week: Monday–Friday, 5x8 hours, 40 hours/week
Setting: Pediatric, school-based outpatient
 

About the Assignment
We’re hiring licensed Occupational Therapists for school-based pediatric services based out of a Redding office. You’ll travel to multiple school sites (either four sites in Shasta County, or a mix of Shasta and Trinity County sites). You’ll plan your schedule, evaluate students, and design and carry out treatment programs. The typical caseload is about 8 visits per day with a daily census of about 10. You’ll work alongside Physical Therapy.

 

Requirements

  • Active California Occupational Therapy license (required)
  • NBCOT certification
  • BLS
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Valid driver’s license (required)
  • Experience with any charting system
  • New grads welcome
  • Preferred experience: autism, cerebral palsy, early intervention, handwriting, sensory diet programs, sensory integrative testing/treatment, acute care

     

Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed); COVID-19 vaccine not required New grads are welcome, and locals are accepted at the same rate.
