Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel contract at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Position Overview

This opportunity involves providing skilled speech-language pathology services to adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment.

The SLP will evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive-linguistic and swallowing disorders, helping improve their functional abilities, safety and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

Conduct speech, language, cognitive and swallowing evaluations
Develop individualized treatment plans
Provide dysphagia assessment and treatment
Address cognitive-communication deficits, including memory, attention and problem-solving
Treat speech, language and communication disorders
Provide patient and caregiver education
Recommend appropriate swallowing strategies and diet modifications within clinical scope
Collaborate with nursing, dietary services, physicians and rehabilitation staff
Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning
Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Qualifications

Active North Carolina SLP license
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
BLS certification as required by the facility
Skilled nursing or geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred
Experience with dysphagia and cognitive-communication treatment preferred
