Description

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum 1 year of Infection Prevention experience required; must be able to work independently
Acute care hospital experience required
Experience with infection prevention, surveillance, and disease reporting
Epic experience highly preferred
Experience with antibiotic stewardship, MDROs, HAIs, MRSA, C. difficile, and surgical site infections
Knowledge of CDC guidelines, NHSN, CMS requirements, and Joint Commission standards
Experience with isolation precautions, PPE, hand hygiene, environmental cleaning, and sharps safety
First-time travelers accepted
House Supervisors considered only if they have Infection Prevention experience

SCHEDULE

Day shift: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Monday–Friday

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

- CIC certification required

LICENSE

Compact license must be in hand at submission
Pending license not accepted
This role does not require the candidate to be an RN; a degree in Public Health, Laboratory Sciences, Microbiology, or a related health science field is acceptable
