🕒 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
💲 Pay Rate: $58.40/hour

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a busy surgical team in San Diego. The ideal candidate will have strong perioperative nursing experience and be comfortable supporting a variety of surgical specialties while delivering safe, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to ensure efficient operating room workflow.
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Monitor and advocate for patient safety throughout the perioperative process.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Support sterile technique and infection prevention practices.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Recent Operating Room nursing experience with the adult population.
• Experience in General Surgery is required.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and patient safety standards.

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following specialties:

• Urology
• Gynecological Surgery
• Orthopedics, including Total Joint Procedures and Sports Medicine
• Head & Neck Surgery
• Robotic-Assisted Surgery
